Shalay Jackson, DrPH, MSW is an Associate Teaching Professor at the College of Social Work at Florida State University, where she infuses creativity and experiential learning into macro social work courses. Dr. Jackson holds a Doctor of Public Health from the University of South Florida, a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University. In addition to her teaching roles, Dr. Jackson has been actively involved in service and leadership roles at Florida State University and within the broader social work community. She is a board member of several macro social work organizations, including the Association for Community Organization and Social Action, the Special Commission to Advance Macro Social Work (Macro Careers Chair), and the Macro Social Work Student Network Advisory Board.
