Lamar Medley, MSW (he/him/his)

Lamar Medley, MSW (he/him) is a Fall 2021 graduate of the St. Edward’s University Bachelor of Social Work Program in Austin, TX. He recently graduated with his Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas School of Social Work in Fayetteville Arkansas where he completed his capstone research titled Soldiers for Life: The Effects of Military Self Stigma in Combat Veterans. Prior to entering the field of social work, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Arkansas Tech University and served in the US Army for 6 years as a musician. He is a contributor to Transforming Social Work Field Education: New Insights from Practice Research and Scholarship. (University of Calgary Press, 2022) His research interests include veteran reintegration and LGBT issues.
