Mark Lamar is Associate Professor of Professional Practice and Executive Director of Practicum Learning at Rutgers School of Social Work. He directs the school's practicum education for the online, on the ground and Intensive Weekend programs.

Lamar's teaching and practice interests include learning through the use of simulation, organizational diversity and inclusion, financial management, firearms policy and harm reduction, and health care policy and economics.
