This paper presentation presents finding from a national study of intimate partner violence in American Muslim communities. Specifically, we examine the mental health burden of American Muslim survivors of intimate partner violence.

Upon completion, the participant will be able to describe the increased risk of mental health burden for survivors of intimate partner violence
Upon completion, the participant will be able to understand the intimate partner violence prevalence rate and mental consequences of intimate partner violence among a sample of American Muslims
Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify sites of intervention for reducing the mental health burden of intimate partner violence for survivors
