In a community-engaged process, researchers partnered with a domestic violence coalition in a rural community to conduct a human services assessment with the goal of identifying strengths and gaps related to availability, capacity, and communication. . This presentation will discuss the collaborative process and its findings.

Upon completion, the participant will be able to recognize the valuable role of university-community partnerships in carrying out services assessments.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to recognize barriers to providing services experienced by domestic violence service providers in rural areas.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to recognize gaps in service provisions in domestic violence services in rural areas through the perspective of survivors who have utilized the system.
