Colonization, Racism, and Humanity: A Cry for Action!

A systematic review was conducted on the topic of Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, racism and lack of humanity concerning African Americans resulting in a reflection trauma study. Colonization has shaped power dynamics, privilege, and oppression in our communities.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the historical context of race and racism.
  2. To enhance participant’s ability to engage in open and constructive conversations about race and racism.
  3. To empower participants to actively recognize and challenge systemic disparities and promote racial justice humanitarian efforts into action.
