Ryan K. Barney, LCSW, BCD (he/him/his)

Ryan K. Barney, LCSW, BCD is completing his Ph.D. in social work at the University of Kentucky. He completed his MSSW at the University of Texas at Austin and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University. He has practiced as an LCSW in a variety of clinical settings with adults and adolescents, treating issues such as substance abuse, family violence, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. His current research interests include occupational well-being in civilian and military helping professionals and the socio-emotional development of adolescent males.
