Andres Navarro is a third-year student at Texas State University, where he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in social work. Andres holds an Associate of Arts in Social Work and a Certificate in American Sign Language-Interpreter Training. Andres is a member of the Phi Alpha National Honor Society for Social Work, Alpha Chi Chapter at Texas State University. He currently works at a non-profit in Austin, Texas, responding to the many social-environmental factors impacting his community, obtaining a Community Health Worker certification in the process. He is expected to graduate in May 2025 and plans on attending graduate school and complete his master’s in social work. Andres has an interest in working with the Latinx and LGBTQIA+ communities.
