Areli is a dedicated mental health clinician specializing in working with individuals who face a range of mental health disorders. With a strong passion for macro social work, Areli has also pursued opportunities to study abroad in Ghana, Africa. Her experiences abroad have fueled her commitment to addressing global issues, mainly focusing on global period poverty through her research project, Project Flow: Creating Global Menstrual Health Equity. Areli's dedication and hard work have been recognized through various scholarships and grants. She is a proud recipient of the Central Valley Hispanic Foundation scholarship, the Study Abroad Scholarship, and the Stanislaus States SERSCA Travel grant. These achievements reflect her exceptional academic performance and her commitment to making a positive impact in the field of social work. As a first-generation graduate, Areli embodies resilience and determination. Her passion for mental health and global menstrual poverty is evident in her lifelong dedication to research. Areli's goal is to contribute to the advancement of mental health services and promote menstrual health equity on a global scale. With her extensive knowledge, compassionate approach, and commitment to social justice. She is driven to create a more equitable and inclusive society, both globally and in locally.
