Leslie is passionate about exploring diverse cultures and perspectives. She embarked on a transformative study abroad experience to Ghana, Africa in May 2023 and May 2024. Leslie witnessed firsthand the distinctive challenges experienced by the residents in this particular region. Leslie's work focused on educating teachers about the vital role of social emotional learning in supporting children’s academic success, mental well-being, and overall development.
Currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician at a non-profit organization for children and families, Leslie’s dedication to mental health shines through in her work every day.
Beyond her academic and clinical pursuits, Leslie fosters aspirations for an international career one day and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social worker. Driven by her desire to make a global impact, Leslie is also committed to advancing mental health initiatives and educational practices, ensuring that individuals and communities have the opportunity to flourish.
