Dr. Michelle Lynn Ostroski, EdD, LSW, serves as an Assistant Professor in Marywood University's School of Social Work. As an educator, she passionately imparts her expertise in social work, healthcare education, and leadership to aspiring professionals. Beyond academia, she is an associate within a group therapy practice in rural northeast Pennsylvania. Her research areas of interest include exploring the social determinants of health and their impact on marginalized populations and advancements in social work education and practice. Dr. Ostroski is acknowledged by Marquis Who's Who, holds the title of Economic Opportunity Fellow from The Aspen Institute, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Council on Social Work Education.
