Professor Bao Moua is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked in the mental health field for over 13 years serving individuals and families impacted by mental illnesses. Prior to St. Thomas, she worked at the Amherst Wilder Foundation in their Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, where she provided program management of mental health and substance use treatment programs and engaged in direct services. Professor Bao's experience and areas of interest include working with immigrant and refugee populations, integrated behavioral healthcare, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and early childhood mental health.
