Heidi Brocious, PhD, MSW

Following a 20 year career in the University of Alaska system teaching social work at both the undergraduate and graduate level, Professor Heidi Brocious is now the chair of the BSW program at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. Professor Brocious has a practice background in adoption, FASD, and medical social work. In addition to teaching, her research interests include community led evaluation, housing and homelessness, harm reduction and community empowerment.
