Michelle Moss is a licensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education and her Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama where she now proudly serves the student population. Michelle is the Assistant Director of Suicide Prevention at The University of Alabama’s Counseling Center. In her position she oversees a student advisory board, organizes and implements events and trainings on campus, and serves as a staff therapist to college students. She is a QPR and Talk Saves Lives trainer and enjoys the chance to be in classrooms sharing about suicide prevention. Michelle’s love of education also keeps her in the classroom where she teaches direct practice classes in the School of Social Work at The University of Alabama. She is also a part-time therapist in private practice where she works with clients of all ages with a focus on trauma treatment and a certified EMDR therapist. Michelle has a passion for helping and educating others about the importance of mental health and works to incorporate that into all areas of her career.
