Terra Hamblin, M.A., NCC, BC-TMH, is a Senior Project Manager at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT). With over 20 years of experience, Ms. Hamblin has been instrumental in managing behavioral healthcare workforce development grants and contracts, including the National Frontier and Rural Addiction Telehealth Education Center (NFARtec). Her work has made significant contributions to telehealth technologies in addiction treatment and recovery for rural areas. She has coordinated five Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) Leadership Institutes, pioneered innovative learning methods, and developed curriculum infusion packages. Additionally, Ms. Hamblin was the Principal Investigator for three pre-service Academic Workforce Development contracts, which facilitated career advancement in the behavioral health field. Currently, she oversees CASAT’s Peer Support Specialist Certificate Program, Addiction Treatment and Prevention Services Academic Programs, and directs Nevada’s Recovery and Prevention Program, a collegiate recovery community at UNR.
