Jenny Tanis, PhD, LMSW is an assistant professor of social work at Hope College. Dr. Tanis received her doctorate in Social Work from Michigan State University and Master's of Social Work from Grand Valley State University. Her research broadly focuses on family well-being, investigating interactions between family-friendly policies and child maltreatment prevention. Dr. Tanis maintains her clinical social work license and has over a decade of practice experience in child welfare and reproductive health.
