Dr. Roxana S. Holland LISW-S, LICDC is an Assistant Professor of Social Work and Director of Field Education at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH. She also engages in clinical practice, working with those who have substance use disorders. Her research agenda includes the impact of race in Social Work education. Most recently, she began using secondary data to describe race-related trends in higher education. Her future research will use primary and secondary data to examine the intersection of diversity and Social Work education related to the makeup of both student and faculty groups. With an overarching goal of exploring the racial makeup of social work faculty as implicit curriculum and its impacts on student learning and, ultimately, their professional practice.
