Layla Khayr, PhD, LICSW, is a full-time lecturer at Boston University School of Social Work. She teaches a number of courses including Racial Justice and Cultural Oppression, Clinical Practice with Groups, and Social Work Ethics. Additionally, she works in the Department of Equity and Inclusion supporting students, faculty, and staff on various projects. She is dedicated to cultivating spaces in which emerging social workers are working to become agents of change through social justice efforts and anti-oppressive practices.
