Dr. Altman is a professor and was the founding Chair of the Department of Social Work at California State University Monterey Bay. A committed scholar and practitioner, she enjoys teaching across the curriculum, mentoring students in their research, and engaging in community service. She was twice selected as a Fulbright Scholar in Social Work.
