Dr. Candra Skrzypek is committed to educational justice and promoting youth mental health and well-being. Her research centers on creating inclusive environments for all students, social emotional learning, and increasing the capacity of teachers to support youth well-being. Recently, Dr. Skrzypek has explored teachers’ mental health literacy and identifying factors that affect teachers’ decision-making to refer youths to school mental health services.
