Warren K. Graham is currently the Associate Dean of Practicum Learning at Columbia University. Formerly the Assistant Dean of Practicum Education and Clinical Associate Professor at SUNY Stony Brook University, Warren was also Assistant Director of Field Education for the MSW Program at the Silberman School of Social Work, and simultaneously Director of Field for the newly accredited BSW Program. Warren is an educator with 13 years experience and is a NYS licensed clinical social worker, NYS credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor, and 7th year doctoral candidate at Adelphi University. Warren’s 20 years of past direct practice experience include outpatient substance use and mental health, and forensic evaluative work. Warren is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, having been elected as NASW NYS President, Delegate to the National Assembly, selected as a Social Worker in the Courts Specialty Practice Section Committee member, NASW NYS Diversity Committee member, NYS Program Committee Member, Advocacy and Governmental Relations Committee member, and former Nassau Division Director and Board Member. Warren was most recently appointed Co-Chair of the Council on Social Work Education’s Council on Racial, Ethnic, and Cultural Diversity and is past convener for the Greater NY Area Field Director’s Consortium. Warren's research centers anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion and issues of power, privilege, and microaggressions.
