Dr. Jenny Crowell Thompson is the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Health Sciences and Chair for the School of Social Work at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She began teaching in the program in 2008, where she emphasizes facilitating undergraduate research, teaching introduction to social work, and social work policy analysis. She received her PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007, holds an MSSW from the University of Tennessee, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rhodes College. Her most recent research includes an analysis of pedagogical practices that facilitate students’ professional identity development.
