Stephanie Ratliff, MSW, CSW, is an instructor at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work where she serves as Assistant Director of Field Education and Director of the Graduate Certificate in Child Welfare Practice. Her teaching interests include field education and social work practice. She has over 19 years of practice experience serving individuals and families who have experienced poverty, intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual assault, mental illness, and substance use. She has extensive administrative, program development, and program evaluation experience. She is passionate about supporting and mentoring future social workers, supporting the child welfare workforce, and advocating for access to services for marginalized populations. Her research interests include the intersections of IPV and substance use, field education, implementation of IPV survivor-informed practices, and supervision in child welfare practice.
