Tamara Mapp works on interventions involving the most delicate and difficult situations of child maltreatment, intimate partner violence, and supporting prevention measures in the Nurse Family Partnership Program. As a Columbus native, Tamara has also served on the Child Development Council of Franklin County, where she provided support and education to Head Start Centers. She is part of the Ohio Network of Children Advocacy Centers which provides statewide initiatives around healing and hope for child victims. In addition to all her work for the greater Columbus area, Tamara also advocates human trafficking and infant mortality issues at community stakeholder forums in Columbus. Tamara has a master’s degree in counselor education/school counseling and guidance services from the University of Dayton and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Ohio. Tamara also has a master's degree in social work and is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio. Tamara is a selfless employee of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, having dedicated her career to the hospital starting in 1990. She spends her days as a leader, providing inspiration and direction to developing managers at Nationwide.
