Yein Yoon’s research interests center on understanding social determinants of mental health, substance use and addiction, sleep and community-based participatory research. Her research also focuses on the effects of discrimination and stigmatization. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Welfare at the University of Seoul, South Korea. Before seeking a doctorate, she worked as a researcher at the Seoul Institute in South Korea.
