Lance T. Peterson is a professor of social work at the University of St. Thomas. His research focuses largely on recorded simulation to help students gain needed competencies for clinical social work, emphasizing mental health. Additionally, he engages in community-based research on family developmental processes and the inclusion of families in clinical social work practice. His teaching passion includes helping students connect theory to practice through constructivist/experiential activities.
