Dr. Billie Allan is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Victoria. She is Anishinaabe from Sharbot Lake, Ontario, and a grateful visitor on the unceded homelands of the Lekwungen and WSANEC peoples. Her research focuses on the impact of racism on Indigenous well-being, including the impact of child welfare involvement.
