Aida Wells, MSW, LICSW, CCTSW

Aida is a UW School of Social Work Associate Teaching Professor and a Sr Bereavement clinician at Seattle Children’s Hospital. In her role as a faculty member, she leads the Latinx Traineeship and supports MSW students in the Office of Field Education. She joined the faculty of UW SSW in 2014 and has been teaching and mentoring students; she has volunteered her time at the Southern border and in Maui, Hawaii supporting families affected by trauma and loss. Her clinical practice involves providing Grief and Loss support to Latino parents and families who have lost a loved one using a cultural and linguistic framework
