Maureen Boyle (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Utah State University. She received her MSW from Utah State University and completed her PhD in Anthropology from Indiana University with a concentration in Archaeology & Social Context. Dr. Boyle’s current research focuses on community-based participatory research methods, health equity, rural communities, and LGBTQ+ community well-being. She is involved with regional coalition-building efforts focused on LGBTQ+ health equity and inclusion issues in northern Utah. Dr. Boyle serves as the Multimedia Editor for the Transforming Communities journal at USU’s Transforming Communities Institute.
