Erin Butts is an Assistant Professor at Carroll College, located in Helena, MT. Her journey with social work began as an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer working with numerous community-based non-profits and service-learning. She then traveled to Fairbank, AK, where she worked with street-dependent and homeless youth, a parish, and a school. Returning to Montana, she spent over ten years working in the area of integrated mental health with public schools through the National Native Children's Trauma Center, the Montana State Department of Education, and a large public school system in Montana.
