Lin Jiang is a tenured associate professor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Her research focuses on mental health among minority older adults, especially Chinese and Latino Americans. Her recent research centers on cognitive health among Chinese and Latino older adults and family caregivers for patients with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia (ADRD). Her work has been published in highly-ranked journals and presented at national and international peer-reviewed conferences. Additionally, she is experienced in grant applications, e.g., HRSA, NIH, and foundation grants. She has been the chair of the communication committee for the Associate of Gerontological Education in Social Work (AGESW) for eight years. She has also served on the membership committee of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA).
