Dr. Sarah Hessenauer (she/her/hers) is an Associate Professor in the Social Work program at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI Sarah received her PhD in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago and her MSW from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Sarah is a licensed clinical social worker. Sarah currently serves on CSWE's Board of Accreditation. Sarah has authored several social work textbooks with Dr. Charles Zastrow, including Generalist Social Work Practice, Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare, and Social Work with Groups. Sarah's research interests include undergraduate social work education, evidence-based research, and teaching religion and spirituality in social work.
