Michael Daley PhD, LMSW-AP, ACSW is Regents Professor and Chair, Department of Social Work at Texas A&M University - Central Texas. Dr. Daley is a NASW Social Work Pioneer and is currently a member of the CSWE Commission on Educational Policy. In 2022 he was recognized by CSWE for Distinguished Recent Contributions to Social Work Education. He is a former President of NASW/Texas and the Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors (BPD) and NASW Texas. He chaired the NASW National Ethics Committee and the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners. His scholarship focuses on the Field of Rural Social Work, and he is the author of Rural Social Work in the 21st Century.
