Elnara Klicheva's passion for human rights and social justice originates from her upbringing in Qaqalpaqstan, Uzbekistan. Her training in law laid the groundwork for her advocacy for the rights of marginalized populations. While pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Connecticut, Elnara interned at the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic, assisting refugees and asylum seekers. This experience profoundly shaped her career path, leading her to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut's School of Social Work, focusing on human rights and social policies for refugees and asylum seekers in the United States.
