I am an Associate Professor at the FSU College of Social Work and have a courtesy appointment as a Professor at the FSU College of Medicine within the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine. I am the Co-Director of the Initiative for Advancement of Pediatric Transplant Health Research at FSU and the University of Florida. I serve as Research Faculty at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and their Solid Organ Transplant Program and Research Scientist for the Center for the Study and Promotion of Communities, Families and Children at the FSU College of Social Work. I hold courtesy appointments as Research or Faculty Affiliate at each the Center for Population Sciences and Health Equity, the Quantitative Methodology and Innovation Division at the FSU Florida Center for Reading Research, FSU College of Medicine Center for Translational Behavioral Science, and the Florida Institute for Child Welfare.
My research focuses on outcomes in childhood, advanced statistical methods, and research on psychometrics and measurement in health research. I have served as a statistical consultant on multiple federally/nationally funded grants including those from the NICHD, Center for Medicare, and Department for Education in the United Kingdom. Additionally, I provide statistical consultation to the University of Texas – Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center Department of Psychiatry. This experience and expertise in quantitative methods and advanced statistical modeling lead to my appointment as a Research Affiliate of the Quantitative Methodology and Innovation Division at FSU.
