Ezequiel previously earned his bachelor of social work (BSW) and master of social work (MSW) degrees at Arizona State University (ASU). Now, he is a Ph.D. student in social work at ASU and a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Research Scholar dedicated to advancing social justice for Latino/a/x communities. His research encompasses critical areas such as labor and immigration, with a specific focus on addressing the significant gaps in understanding and support for Latinos engaged in precarious work. Utilizing a community-based participatory approach, Ezequiel prioritizes community voices in his work. His methodology aims not only to investigate effective interventions but also to translate findings into actionable recommendations and advocacy efforts.
