Rory is a Research Assistant and a doctoral student at Tulane University in the City, Culture, and Community Program (social work track), where her research interests include Mental Health, Parenting, and Women’s Studies. Rory completed her MSW at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she also received her undergraduate degree. Rory’s experience with new mothers and mental health counseling during the pandemic impelled a desire to study the implications of disasters on single mothers.
