Nadia, LCSW, is a PhD student at Arizona State University researching policy responses to extreme heat. Her research aims to answer questions around how to most equitably design and implement policies to protect all from adverse effects of extreme heat. She uses Critical Environmental Justice to explore the interaction of climate and social justice, systems of power, and social and community change.
