The presentation will discuss how extreme heat event impacts older adults’ disaster preparedness. Findings from multi-linear regression analysis reveal that experiencing extreme heat, using information and service, and self-efficacy significantly predict disaster preparedness. Recommendations suggest tailored support programs and advocacy efforts to enhance older adults’ readiness for future disasters.
