This paper focuses on social workers as social entrepreneurs and what contributes to engagement. Social entrepreneurship has been shown to effectively address societal needs and provide an avenue to increase earning potential. This study provides information on what predictors are associated with engagement in social entrepreneurship among social workers.

To discuss the variables associated with engagement in social entrepreneurship among social workers.
To communicate the importance of entrepreneurship training in social work education programs and workplaces.
To suggest how schools of social work and agencies can market and distinguish themselves to prospective students and employees.
