Resilience Among Immigrant Women of Color Who Experience Partner Violence: Service Providers' Perspectives

This study uses service providers’ perspectives to understand resilience among immigrant women of color (IWOC) who experience intimate partner violence. The findings from this research are crucial in understanding policies, services, and programs that enhance and promote resilience among IWOC and influencing help-seeking behavior and service delivery.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explore resilience in the context of immigrant women of color’s experience with intimate partner violence and their access to services.
  2. Understand service providers' perceptions of resilience among immigrant women of color who are victims of intimate partner violence.
  3. Provide implications for understanding the resilience of immigrant women of color to influence help-seeking behavior as well as service delivery.
