Moving Toward a Trauma-Informed, Antiracist, and Antioppressive Organization and Organizational Leadership

The presenters will discuss the effects of trauma exposure in the educational setting and addressing it through antiracist, antioppressive, trauma-informed structures and leadership. Participants will discuss how trauma affects people at their organizations and work on plans to incorporate more antiracist, trauma informed leadership into their structures and practices.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Upon completion, the participant will be able to understand the key components of trauma informed leadership and organizations.
  2. Upon completion, the participant will identify ways in which trauma exposure may be affecting students, faculty and staff at their organization.
  3. Upon completion, the participant will identify opportunities for incorporating more trauma informed principles into their organizational structure and leadership.
