Presenters will discuss the implementation of a standardized patient program to prepare healthcare professionals for interprofessional practice and care of diverse patient populations. Simulation healthcare experiences, specifically standardized participants, provide experiences for students to collaborate and implement a person-centered approach. Experiential learning positively impacts knowledge acquisition, self-efficacy, learning, and communication.
