The findings of this paper propose Critical Race Theory and Human Rights-based framework as alternative approaches to deconstruct hate crimes policy vis-à-vis Islamophobia in the US, which will be helpful in redefining Islamophobia, identifying issues in the current policy, and bringing effective reforms.
