This workshop invites you to audaciously implement anti-ableism and disability justice into your pedagogy and across social work education. Join this workshop to co-create invigorated imaginings of disability justice and tangible actions to transform social work education on interpersonal, policy-related, systemic, and structural levels.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Integrate a conceptual and theoretical framework for social work education comprising of anti-ableism and disability justice
  2. Compare and contrast anti-ableist and disability justice pedagogical approaches to social work education
  3. Imagine and apply disability justice principles across social work education
