Nurturing Young Minds: The Power of Reading, Imagination, and Inclusion in Children's Holistic Development

This workshop will provide an unforgettable experience for attendees, engaging their creative minds and teaching them how to use the power of imagination to help children navigate the world of difference, inclusion, and diversity. Presenters will explain how reading stimulates the brain and enhances vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking skills.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To educate social workers on alternative strategies for creatively promoting inclusion and diversity in their work with children.
  2. To provide practical strategies for enhancing interpersonal communication with children young through the activation of the imagination of children through books.
  3. To encourage long-lasting connections, and ethical and moral concepts within children through the use of literature and tactile objects.
