The presentation will describe a one-year SPT project resulting in the development of a three-credit elective course on suicide prevention in a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program. Funding for the project was obtained from a local foundation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the development of the Suicide Prevention Training project.
  2. Describe the evaluation of the Suicide Prevention Training project.
  3. Discuss options for funding a similar Suicide Prevention Training project in BSW programs.
