In the face of ongoing cancer health disparities, this study conducted survey research to assess the associations of varied psychosocial and cultural factors with HPV knowledge in a sample of 286 Indigenous women to guide effective, culturally appropriate intervention efforts aimed at reducing the negative consequences of HPV infection.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will increase their understanding about various psychosocial and cultural determinants associated with HPV knowledge among Indigenous Women.
Upon completion, participants will acquire knowledge of HPV prevention and intervention strategies that pursue targeted, culturally tailored approaches to address HPV literacy among Indigenous women.
Upon completion, participants will gain their understanding of the health disparities experienced by Indian country and will be equipped to identify strategies to reduce these disparities and enhance health outcomes and well-being of them.
