This panel will present and discuss quantitative and qualitative findings regarding the motivations for pursuing a DSW degree, perception of the benefits and impact of a DSW degree, and trends regarding program foci and graduate satisfaction as perceived by recent DSW graduates and current students.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Upon completion, the participant will be able to articulate the history and recent development and growth of practice doctorate programs.
  2. Upon completion, the participant will be able to gain knowledge pertaining to DSW graduates and current students’ motivations, perception of benefits and impact as well as program focus and satisfaction.
  3. Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify trends of development of DSW programs based on a comparison of quantitative and qualitative findings of graduates and current students.
