The purpose of this research study is to explore the lived experiences of African American men, ages 18-50 years old, impacted by Covid-19 and the polarizing events of 2020.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explore how the events of 2020 contributed to the development of their sense of self-identity, community, and purpose.
  2. Examine the lived experiences of African American men, ages 18-50 years old, impacted by Covid-19 and the polarizing events of 2020.
  3. Explore what protective factors African American men identify as important to their personal growth and well-being during and after Covid-19
